3. Zener Diodes

Zener diodes (जेनर विभाग) are another type of diode which are used to regulate voltages. They are designed to be highly conductive at higher voltages which makes them ideal for voltage regulation. They are most commonly used in power supplies and voltage regulation circuits.

4. Schottky Diodes

Schottky diodes (स्कॉटकी डायोड) are known for their very fast switching times. They are used in a range of applications such as in radio frequency (RF) switches and logic gates. They are also often used as a type of clamp diode which can protect other components against voltage spikes.

Uses of Diodes

Diodes are found in a large variety of electronic circuits and have a number of different uses. Here are some of the most common applications for diodes:

1. Voltage Control

Diodes can be used to control the voltage of a circuit. Rectifier diodes are used to convert AC to DC, while Zener and Schottky diodes are often used to regulate the voltages in a circuit.

2. Power Supply Filtering
