The realm of teaching can be vast and complicated, with innumerable methods and approaches to explore. Although the core teaching objective is the acquisition of knowledge, the students’ age and interests shape the approach. A key factor in selecting an appropriate teaching approach is a teacher’s understanding of different teaching levels. This article attempts to explain the various teaching levels, and then dives into different methods and approaches commonly used in teaching.

Levels to Consider for Teaching:

When it comes to teaching, the levels of instruction vary with the content, abilities and interests of the students. Here are the broad levels of teaching that teachers should consider while creating plans:

• Preschool and Elementary Level: This level focuses on developing basic understandings, skills and knowledge. Activities should include stories, songs, poems and other fun strategies like use of audio-visuals to encourage a positive relationship with learning.
